Someone you love is probably a sex worker and you don’t even know it.

In New York, I found myself unexpectedly surrounded by a community of strippers, cam-girls, sugar babies, and full-service sex workers - among them my collaborator Emily, whose invitation and proposition of this project opened the door to their world. Belladonna Project illuminates the quiet truth that adult entertainers are woven into the fabric of every community. Rather than reinforcing a voyeuristic gaze, we collaborate with sex workers on these portraits, balancing the line between staged and documentary with humour and softness.
